Interior Office Design Project FPT – District 7, Ho Chi Minh City

1. Investor Introduction

FPT is one of Vietnam’s leading technology corporations, established in 1988. The group operates in three core areas: Technology, Telecommunications, and Education, with a wide network of branches throughout Vietnam and in many countries around the world. As part of its innovation journey, FPT continuously focuses on building modern and dynamic workspaces to foster a strong tech culture and promote sustainable employee development.

2. The Collaboration

Le Vin Decor was honored to be selected as the interior design partner for FPT’s office in District 7 – a key strategic location in southern Vietnam. The goal of this project was to create a workspace that is:

• Modern and tech-driven

• Highly efficient in operation

• Optimized for cross-departmental collaboration

• Deeply reflective of FPT’s brand identity through space and design

3. Design Process for FPT Office – District 7

Step 1: Briefing & Site Survey

• Client objectives: To design an open, modern office that integrates technology and creativity, embodying FPT’s pioneering spirit.

• Site condition: Located in a premium office tower in District 7, featuring a spacious floor plan and international-standard infrastructure.

• Functional requirements: Regional headquarters housing departments such as engineering, HR, sales, content creation, and multipurpose zones.

• Preliminary design direction: Flexible zoning, open space planning, technology integration, and brand-consistent color scheme (orange – blue – white).

Step 2: Layout Proposal & Concept Development

• Overall layout plan:

  • Open workspaces divided into clusters by function

  • Flexible glass meeting rooms that can be merged or separated

  • Innovation Lab and rest-relaxation area

  • Pantry integrated with creative café and small workshop space

• Core design concept:

  • Theme: Tech-Innovation Workplace – a space that inspires innovation and reflects the FPT spirit

  • Color scheme: Dominant orange (FPT’s brand color), combined with cobalt blue and tech-inspired grey tones

  • Style: Modern and minimalist, incorporating geometric forms inspired by technology, coding, and AI

  • Materials: Glass, epoxy paint, acoustic carpet, engineered veneer wood, fabric acoustic panels, and programmable smart lighting systems

• Initial visualizations:

  • Reception with a 3D FPT logo and ambient lighting that changes throughout the day

  • Open ceiling workspace with exposed systems and linear LED lighting

  • Creative zone featuring writable walls, pinboards, and multi-functional storage units

Step 3: Detailed Design Implementation

• Technical drawings: Covering all ceiling, flooring, partitions, electrical/data systems, loose and fixed furniture

• Smart furniture design:

  • Workstations with built-in charging ports and smart adjustable desk lamps

  • Concealed electrical and network cabinets for easy maintenance

• Spatial optimization:

  • Enhanced circulation flow and clear but connected zoning to improve team interaction

Step 4: Material approval and preliminary construction 

Detail technical profile

• Each area drawring: reception, watting lobby, open workspace, meeting , creative area, pantry
• Technical system description: Air condition, noise cancelling, fire protection meet A+ standard.
• Realistic sample field: included floor sample, veneer, safety glass, smart ligtht.
• Detail quotation: Follow each section, optimal budget solutions but still ensuring aesthetic and durability.

Step 5: supervision and handover

• Design – construction supervision: Le Vin Decor combine strictly with contractor M&E from FPT, ensuring technical and progress intergate.
• Progress handover: FPT office district 7 is completed over 3 days progress, ensure ready to operate stage.
• FPT respond: FPT representative highly evalutaing Le Vin Decor creative, professionalism and flexible in handle situiation.
