Westlake is a global enterprise specializing in the production and supply of high-quality PVC compounds used across various industries, including automotive, construction, electrical, and healthcare. With advanced technology and a strong commitment to quality, Westlake has established a modern factory at Bien Hoa II Industrial Park, Dong Nai — one of the key industrial zones in Southern Vietnam — to expand its production operations in the Vietnamese market.

2. The Partnership

Le Vin Decor was selected by Westlake to design the office interiors for their factory, thanks to our extensive experience in designing and executing high-end workspaces within industrial environments. Westlake’s team required a space that reflects functionality, professionalism, and cleanliness, while also creating an inspiring environment for engineers, technical staff, and management.

3. Westlake Factory Office Design Process

Step 1: Information Gathering & Site Survey

• Client requirements: The office is located within the factory’s central operations area, requiring optimized functionality, easy maintenance, and compliance with industrial standards.

• Site survey: The operations floor includes engineering offices, meeting rooms, control rooms, technical rooms, and a pantry/relaxation area for staff.

• User needs analysis: Clearly defining the separation between technical workspace and administrative space.

• Initial design direction: Minimalist layout with high-quality materials and meticulous construction standards.

Step 2: Needs Analysis & Preliminary Design Proposal

• Layout Plan:

  • Reception area connected to a PVC materials showroom.

  • Engineering area with group workstations and storage cabinets.

  • Central meeting room with tempered glass partitions and adjustable blinds for lighting control.

  • Pantry integrated with light refreshments and relaxation space.

• Design Concept:

  • Theme: “Modern – Industrial – Efficient”

  • Color Palette: White – Grey – Blue, combined with neutral white and warm lighting.

  • Materials: Glass partitions, powder-coated steel, wood-effect plastic panels, and easy-to-clean artificial stone.

  • Initial 3D Visualization: Open space, natural light combined with premium technical lighting systems.

Step 3: Detailed Design Development

• Technical Drawings: Including technical ceilings, lighting systems, storage solutions, and executive desks.

• 3D Renderings: Accurate simulation of materials, lighting, colors, and real-world spatial experience.

• Furniture Consultation: Prioritizing materials that are scratch-resistant, anti-static, and easy to maintain.

• Acoustic and Climate Solutions: Industrial-grade soundproofing and air-conditioning for comfort during continuous equipment operation.
