VILAF Office Interior Design Project – District 1, HCMC

1. Investor Introduction 

VILAF – Hong Duc is one of Vietnam’s leading law firms, with a team of over 50 highly qualified and experienced lawyers. Operating offices in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, VILAF specializes in key legal practice areas such as corporate, investment, banking & finance, M&A, dispute resolution, and intellectual property. As a strategic partner of numerous multinational corporations and domestic companies, VILAF requires a workspace that reflects its prestige, professionalism, and global outlook.

2. The Collaboration

Le Vin Decor was selected by VILAF to design their office interior thanks to our extensive experience with high-end projects in the legal, financial, and corporate sectors. The “Future of Law” concept proposed by our team quickly won the approval of VILAF’s executive board. The design combines technology, artistic lighting, and modern materials to portray a forward-thinking law firm while preserving its depth of expertise and brand identity.

3. VILAF Office Design Process

Step 1: Information gathering and Site Survey

• Information Gathering: VILAF emphasized the need for an academic-inspired space that exudes trust, professionalism, and prestige, while promoting openness, interaction, and creativity.
• Site Survey: The office is located in a Grade-A building in the heart of District 1, with standard floor dimensions, high ceilings, and a premium technical infrastructure.
• Needs Assessment: We studied the operational characteristics of key departments: advisory lawyers, dispute resolution, admin-legal, and client meeting areas.
• Design Direction Report: Requirements on functions, team size, and brand characteristics were consolidated to serve as a foundation for developing the “Future of Law” concept.

Step 2: Design Proposal and Concept Development

• Layout Planning:
  • A premium reception area integrated with brand identity elements.
  • A series of acoustically optimized meeting rooms for international clients.
  • Open workspaces interspersed with relaxation zones.
  • Executive and specialized offices designed to international standards.
• “Future of Law” Concept Proposal:
  • Use of indirect lighting, LED profiles, and spotlights to create spatial depth.
  • Primary color scheme: white – gray – navy, with signature blue lighting accents for branding.
  • Materials: tempered glass, dark veneer wood, engineered stone, and titanium-gray anodized metal.
• 3D Design Presentation & Revisions:
  Le Vin Decor received direct feedback from VILAF’s executive board and refined the design to align with the firm’s strategic vision.

Step 3: Detailed Design Development

• Construction Drawings:
  Each zone was detailed to meet acoustic, security, and document safety standards. Wall, ceiling, flooring, and door specifications were rigorously developed.
• 3D Renderings:
  Each space was fully visualized to accurately reflect lighting, materials, height, and sightlines.
• Furniture Selection:
  High-end Herman Miller task chairs, meeting tables with built-in presentation and conferencing equipment.
• Optimized Storage Solutions:
  Built-in filing systems and secure storage cabinets tailored to the needs of each administrative and legal team.
